Ryan and I went to the Hollywood Theater last night for a sold-out viewing of For the Next Seven Generations. I'm glad we bought our tickets ahead of time!It's difficult to capture the movie in just a few sentences, except to say it does a smashing job of expressing the soulfulness, fierceness, and compassion of 13 women - all grandmothers - from various indigenous tribes throughout the world. These ladies come together twice a year to pray, witness the traditions of their sisters, and to make strides towards solving some of the world's biggest problems.
I want to be like them some day.
