Sunday found us at the coast, where we did a big loop from the Tillamook Cheese Visitor Center to Hug Point State Park to Astoria. We saw the ocean, got our feet wet, toured a Coast Guard vessel, visited the Columbia River Maritime Museum, said hello to some sea lions, and did a little exploring in Astoria. It was a good day.

I climbed it once, many moons ago. It's a long walk up a spiral staircase. Pretty great view as I recall. Good ol' spooky Astoria.
Gorgeous pictures! One of these days I need to go do a tour of the Tillamook Cheese factory. Looks like fun!
