Yosemite National Park, Part II

If I thought our first trip to Yosemite was cold, that was nothin' compared to Curry Village in December. Imagine two feet of snow on the ground with temperatures in the lower 20's. Multiple layers of long underwear and hats. Working outdoors in the shadow zone for a whole week with no glimpse of the sun. But! Covered in clean white snow [and ice], Yosemite is one of the most beautiful places I've been to. The thrill I felt last week, at being lucky enough to get to work there of all places, is comparable to Yosemite Bear's elation at the Double Rainbow. I was channeling him, for sure. Behold:
