Reasons why

Winding down after a most-excellent weekend. Here's what was great about it:

01 Enjoyed happy hour with Nicole & Hilary Friday night at Bernie’s – haven’t been to Alberta in ages and am excited by new shopping opportunities
02 Finished latest quilt project (pictured above), just in time to...
03 ...meet baby Maya (recipient of said quilt, six weeks old) over coffee with new mama Seden
04 Ryan surprised me by coming home one day early (so grand)
05 Had spontaneous & unexpected date night, watched Vicky Cristina Barcelona (laughed our heads off)
06 Picked up & am devouring book The White Masai
07 Have clean home, clean laundry, full fridge, fresh cooling air from rain
08 Am anticipating upcoming road trip with Ryan & Dad, where we will witness magnificent things

Now, pizza's on the way. Closing ceremony of Olympics is on. Another sewing project is calling my name. I feel ready for Monday.
