Love me some Omar like nobody's business. I can't even begin to say what a powerful character, no force, Omar is. He didn't make his debut this season, the final season, until the end of the third episode. Even before we saw his beautiful british face and heard his smooth voice tonight, I'd started calling the series Omar instead of The Wire.
It is the best show. Ever. And he, ladies and gents, is the greatest character of all time.
I think Ryan would agree for the most part, but might accuse me of slight exaggeration.
