Last night Ryan and I went on an impromptu date to Living Room Theaters for happy hour & a movie. We saw Mid-August Lunch and I can't recommend it enough. The film, set in Italy, presents a man busier than a one-armed paper hanger caring for a group of lovely but high-maintenance elderly women during the peek of vacation season. It is sweet and sentimental and believable, a classic film offering a glimpse into everyday Italian life. Go see it!And as a side note, my office designed Living Room Theaters and it really is a gem of a place. If you go, take a date and send him into the restroom to wash his hands at the same time you go to wash yours for an unsettling optical illusion...
