Hey, I know you! And you! And you!

For starters, love love love Stephenie Meyer’s The Host. Can’t put that baby down for two shakes!

I am glad to be home. Especially after tonight. It is a lovely warm evening. After work we walked over to a favorite neighborhood place for dinner, where I indulged in pimento cheese and where be bumped in to our old friends Nicole & Michael. Then we cruised through the beautiful neighborhoods, dreaming of what houses we’d want to call our home, up to Staccato Gelato. Going in we bumped in to some more peeps we know, with babies in tow. Coming out I almost walked into a third set of friendly and familiar faces.

I suppose this is what it means to belong to a neighborhood. It’s our little community and, silly as it sounds, I love running into people we know while out doing our own thing. It’s a simple pleasure, I suppose.
